Bacchus Gitarrkvartett is bringing bohemia back to the concert hall! With ambitious arrangements of beloved masterpieces from the classical repertoire, they introduce the classical guitar to a wide audience.
Their repertoire spans from Ravel’s String Quartet, to Swedish composers like Stenhammar and Petersson-Berger, and even includes covers of soundtracks from beloved videogames.
Bacchus is the roman God for the festival, wine and abundance. His archetype became a symbol for the ensemble to explore uninhibited joy and breaking some rules if the situation calls for it.
Hvilepuls
(resting heart rate)
A solo concert filled with calming, beautiful guitar music. Inspired by the Baroque ideas of physical and mental health benefits from exposing audiences to contrasting emotions through music.
In a modern take, the whole 75 minutes of “Hvilepuls” is seen as a
relaxing contrast to the stressful world outside. Calm, beautiful music from the classical repertoire provides a spot in your schedule to sit back, close your eyes and do absolutely nothing.

The November Project
Three musicians from different countries and genre backgrounds explore what happens when the only common ground is the search for one particular mood.
The ensemble was initiated after playing at the same concert in 2018. The musicians
soon realized that the shared intuitive musicality went beyond the surface of style,
traditions and genre. With a repertoire spanning from the classical composer Edvard Grieg, Scandinavian folk music, metalbands such as System of a Down and the progressiv rock of Radiohead,
the ensemble offers a unique perspective of how much we all share.
